Course Description
This interactive and engaging course is designed to help students develop practical Icelandic language skills for everyday interactions. Through dynamic activities, role plays, games, and supplemental materials, students will gain confidence in using Icelandic in real-life situations such as at the workplace, in shops, at the bank, in restaurants, or at the doctor’s office. The course focuses on essential vocabulary for daily life, pronunciation practice, and situational dialogues, providing a safe and supportive environment for learners to practice speaking and listening.
The course will be in Icelandic and students should have some basic Icelandic knowledge (equivalent to level 3 from the school of Múltikúlti) to participate effectively. Students can participate both in classroom and online. Whether you want to improve your small talk skills or navigate daily scenarios with ease, this course will equip you with the tools and confidence to communicate effectively in Icelandic.
